Obituary of William E. Bolton
William E. “Wolfman” Bolton, 65 years of age, currently of Dansville, passed away Friday, August 13th, 2016.
Bill was born November 24th, 1950 in Wayland the son of Lyle and Mildred (Jensen) Bolton. He grew up in Wayland and lived most of his life there until approximately 15 years ago when he moved to Dansville. His employment included many years as a bus driver for Hill Top ARC in Mt. Mt. Morris.
Bill was a member of the Wayland Rod-n-Gun Club and a member of the Dansville Moose Club. He loved motorcycles especially Harley Davidson’s; he enjoyed fishing and boating, camping and tinkering with things. One of his greatest joys though was lighting off fireworks on his favorite holiday, July 4th.
Bill was pre-deceased by his parents, Lyle and Mildred Bolton. He is survived by his companion of many years, Joanne Burley of Dansville; his children, Vicki Bolton-Walburn of IN, William Bolton of Dansville and Wendy (Chris) Caldwell of Dansville; his grandson Parker, along with several other grandchildren; his brother Richard (Mary) Bolton of Rushville and his sister Linda Bolton of Rochester; along with several nieces and nephews.
Bill’s family and friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. His funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Osceola Wharton officiating. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
