Obituary of Craig T. McWilliams
Wayland – Craig T. McWilliams, 55 years of age, passed away early Tuesday afternoon at Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.
Craig was born March 28, 1961 in Louisville, KY the son of James and Barbara (Sparks) Beebe. Craig grew up in and has remained a resident of the Wayland area most of his life. His employment began as a deep sea diver in New Orleans, LA for several years. Craig then served his country in the United States Navy for ten years and was active during the Persian Gulf War. While in the Navy he was a Fire Control Radar Technician. Subsequent to his honorable discharge, Craig attended Johnson and Wales Cooking School and was a chef in several NY area restaurants. Most recently he was a truck driver for Leonard Express.
Craig was pre-deceased by his parents James and Barbara Beebe; and a brother. He is survived by his daughters, Erin (Scott) Kinney of Hornell and Ashley McWilliams of Mt. Morris; his sister Marcia (Dennis) Jacobs of Wilmington, DE; his granddaughters, AlyssiaMay, MaggieMay, Willow and SarahLynn; along with nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Craig’s family and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at Clearview Cemetery in N. Cohocton on Thursday January 5, 2017 at 11am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vincent House, 310 Second Ave., Wayland, NY 14572.
