Obituary of Jeffery J. Sullivan

Rochester / Wayland – Jeffery J. Sullivan, 29 years of age, passed away Friday July 7, 2017 in Rochester. 

Jeff was born June 25, 1988, in Dansville the son of Darrel and Carrie Gibson.  Throughout his life, Jeff resided in many different areas that included, Gananda, LeRoy, Wayland and for the past 10 years, Rochester.  Jeff was a graduate of the class of 2006 at Wayland-Cohocton School and a graduate of St. John Fisher College, attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology.  He was the General Manager at Murphy’s Law Irish Pub in Rochester and loved his job!

His hobbies were many as Jeff enjoyed being a freelance D.J, and using his love of music.  He also loved cooking, cleaning, fine dining, fine wine, and fine beers.  He loved to travel and took many road trips to Brooklyn.  Jeff had a knack for shopping, especially for shoes and always had to “be on point!”  He couldn’t wait for the Christmas season to approach and would welcome that season in November. He loved his dogs, Buddah and Jackson, all his family, his Magpie Crew, and countless friends.  However his special love was saved for the love of his life Morgan.  He will be missed by all and memories will be cherished by many!

Jeff is survived by the love of his life, Morgan Hill of Rochester; his parents, Carrie and Darrel Gibson of Wayland; his brother, Jack Gibson of Wayland; his grandparents, John and Betsy Sullivan of Dansville and Bob and Evelyn Gibson of Byron; Morgan’s family; her parents, Mike and Sharon Hill of Webster; her siblings, Mason and Myranda Hill of Webster; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends from high school, college and his life in Rochester.

Jeff’s family and friends may call Tuesday from 4-8pm at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jeff on Wednesday at 11am at St. Mary’s Church in Dansville.  Interment will take place at the convenience of his family.  Contributions in memory of Jeffery J.
