Obituary of Samuel D. Bradford Jr.

Dansville – Samuel D. Bradford Jr., "Sammy," 45 years of age passed away at his home in Dansville on Wednesday January 25, 2018.

Sammy was born December 12, 1972 in Hornell the son of Samuel D. Sr. and Josephine (Roth) Bradford.  He grew up and has remained a life-long resident of the Dansville / Wayland areas.  Throughout his years, Sammy enjoyed fishing, working on cars and he especially loved his cat “FatFat!”

Sammy was pre-deceased by his mother, Josephine Bradford; two nieces, Rachel Huff and Amber Jo Rader; and a great-nephew, Ian.  He is survived by his father, Samuel D. Bradford Sr. of Dansville; his siblings, Brad (Lisa) Harbin of UT, Eric (Roxanne) Huff of FL, Tina (Daran) Summerton of PA and Kimberly Bradford of Dansville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and of course his cat “FatFat!”

Sammy’s family and friends may call Tuesday from 4-7pm at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.  Sammy’s funeral service will be Wednesday at 2pm at the funeral home.  Committal prayers and interment will take place immediately following at Greenmount Cemetery in Dansville.
