Obituary of Kevin T Dolan

Conesus / Wayland – Kevin T. Dolan, 68 years of age, currently of Victor, passed away early Friday morning, February 6th, 2015 at Thompson Health in Canandaigua. Kevin was born November 2, 1946 in Buffalo, NY the son of Dr. Donald and Mary (Lynch) Dolan Sr. He grew up in Wayland and was a 1964 graduate of Wayland Central School. Kevin then attended SUNY Geneseo and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. His employment career included 25 years at Livonia Central Schools as an elementary and middle school teacher. His hobbies were many. Throughout the years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and cooking. Mostly though, Kevin just liked to spend good times with friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all. Kevin was pre-deceased by his parents, Dr. Donald Dolan Sr. and Mary Dolan; and a son, Sean Dolan. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Shannon Dolan and Josh Stenger of Pawtucket, RI; his son, Brendan Dolan of Naples; his step-mother, Dorothy Dolan of Dansville; his siblings, Dr. Donald (Natasha) Dolan Jr. of Corning, Mark Dolan of CA, Killene (Sandy) Dolan of Bath, Patrick (Vicki) Dolan of Dansville, Mary Louise (Gary) Harrington of Dansville, Mary Beth (Sava) Zdraljevic of Nevada and Christopher Dolan of New York; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Kevin’s family and friends are invited to attend a celebration in honor and memory of his life on Saturday February 14th at 2:00pm at the Bryant Hotel on Main St. in Wayland. Memorial contributions in Kevin T. Dolan’s memory may be made to the Wayland Historical Society, 100 S.
