You played your guitar for me when I was young , you made me laugh , & you showed me how strong you were , yet remained humble & when I was as sad as I could be at the loss of my son , YOU showed me how to bear that sorrow.....And wrote me a poem ......I will treasure it & you ALWAYS.....RIP Uncle Ronnie Our family`s Heavenly Reunion welcomed you ........till we meet again....XO Your niece Debi (Nihoff) Paige

We will miss you in the neighborhood. Loved your sense of humor. We will miss you driving by every morning to go get your newspaper and a donut. Rest In Peace Ron . Condolences to the family!

"Ronnie" was one of my best friends. We grew up together. We enjoyed trips to Pontillo's Pizza shop on Lake Ave. Our group would often consist of the usual "guys" and my sister, Heather, with some of her girlfriends. Most of us had part time jobs at Loblaws grocery store on Stone Rd. We shared the experience of having a morning paper route. We explored the area "across the tracks" near Bennington Dr. and Haviland Park, where we would spend hours. We played pickup football games against some of the boys from St. Joseph's Villa Orphanage. They always beat us. With the help of at least one of the "dads" we created a softball field at the curve on California Dr. in Greece.
We all appreciated Ron's dry sense of humor. He once told me I was "Rochester's answer to Arnold Stang". He was honest, genuine, and you couldn't ask for a better friend.
Bruce MacGregor.
