Obituary of Aimiari A. Love-Green

Dansville- Aimiari A. Love-Green 53, entered enteral rest on Sunday April 11, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester NY, she was surrounded by family. Daughter of Stanley Garrett and Ruth Garrett born on September 7th, 1967 at Jacobi Hospital Bronx, NY and was raised in New York City. A devout Christian, who loved the Lord at age 21, she gave her life to Christ and changed her birth name from Melanie Antoinette Garrett to Aimiari Antoinette Love. Aimiari was a member of New Bread Ministries, Dansville Church for 15 years, where she served faithfully. Aimiari received her Bachelor Degree from Fashion Institute of Technology and a Master Degree in Art Education and was currently pursuing a PHD Degree. Prior to moving to Dansville she taught art at E. Alma Flag High School in Newark, NJ. Aimiari’s legacy continues through her son Trwuu Love, her heart and soul. Aimiari instilled the love of Jesus Christ, education and the spirit to always fight. Aimiari and Trwuu enjoyed traveling, which included a missionary trip to Guatemala. Aimiari married Robert Green on December 17, 2017 in Dansville, NY. Aimiari loved sewing and crafting, she created her own line of doll clothing along with designing clothing for many friends. Aimiari enjoyed thrift shopping especially if there was a deal. Aimiari loved her family, she was the second oldest of six siblings. Aimiari was pre-deceased by her father, Stanley Garrett. She is survived by her husband, Robert Green of Dansville; her son Trwuu Love of Dansville; her mother, Ruth Young of Newburgh, NY; her siblings, Paul Garrett of the Bronx, Reverend Scharlise Dorsey of Brooklyn, Monique Young of Mt. Vernon, Donnell Young of the Bronx and Shamara Young of Kingston New York; along with her Aunt Teresa Seabrook of Queens, NY. Aimiari leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Aimiari’s family and friends may call from 2-3pm Tuesday April 21, 2021 at New Bread Ministries Church, 6 West Liberty St., Dansville.
