Obituary of Norma Holley
Loon Lake / Wayland / Syracuse – Norma Holley, age 96, passed away on June 22, 2021 at Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville, NY.
Norma was born on March 6, 1925 in Hamilton Beach, NY to Ida Mae and William Kahl. She grew up in Valley Stream, NY, married her soul mate, Edward George Holley Sr. They lived in Northport, NY and Rochester, MA and moved to Loon Lake/Wayland in 1973.
Norma is survived by her four children, Christine (Kevin) McNulty of Fayetteville, NY; Kathy Martina of Fayetteville, NY; Noreen (Richard) DiFonzo of Fish Hawk, Fla. and Edward (Kate) Holley Jr. of Ballston Lake, NY; 13 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, and a host of additional family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years and two precious grandchildren.
Norma devoted her life to her adored family. She cared immensely, cherished her friends, and warmed the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank Iroquois Nursing Home, Buckley Landing, friends and relatives for the friendship and support given to this beautiful soul.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service in Norma’s honor at Loon Lake Community Chapel, 10011 State Rte 21, Wayland, NY on Saturday, July 10th at 11:00am. Donations in her memory can be sent to the Loon Lake Association. 28 Orchard St., Canisteo, NY 14823.
