Obituary of Douglas N. Owens
Wayland – Douglas N. Owens, 79 years of age, passed away Friday evening, November 26, 2021 at Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville from complications of Covid-19.
Doug was born March 22, 1942 in Dansville. He grew up in and has remained a life resident of the Dansville / Wayland areas. He was self-employed most of his life as a landlord, owning local properties. Doug loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, old cars, all kinds of antiques and going to yard sales.

Doug was pre-deceased by his parents; two brothers, John and Jesse Owens; and his longtime companion, Bonnie McIntosh and her son, Phil “Jr.” McIntosh. He is survived by his son, Dougie (Rachel) Owens of Springwater; his 1 month old granddaughter, Gwendolyn; his brother Charles Owens of AZ; and Bonnie’s son, Willie McIntosh of Springwater.
Doug’s family and friends may call Saturday December 4, 2021 from 1-4pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. Interment will take place at Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville.
