Obituary of Timothy P. White

Scottsville / Springwater – Timothy P. White, 58 years of age, passed away late Sunday evening, November 28, 2021 at Highland Hospital after battling illness for several years. Tim was born March 2, 1963 in Dansville the son of Dick and Helen (Hayes) White. He grew up in Springwater and was a 1981 graduate of Wayland Central School. Tim earned his Electrical Engineering Tech degree (Associates of Applied Science) at Alfred State in 1983. Tim and Shelle Tucker met at college and on June 8, 1985 were wed. They celebrated 36 years of marriage in June and have resided in the Rochester area since, the last 11 in Scottsville, NY. Tim worked at Rotork Controls Inc. in Gates, NY as a senior applications engineer for more than 25 years. Tim’s hobbies were many! He loved camping at Sun Valley in Arkport for the past 18 years; he enjoyed reading science fiction and was a proud member of the Oatka #759 Masonic Lodge. Tim was a “Master Lego Builder,” and enjoyed the camaraderie of hunting with family and friends in his younger days. He will be missed by his family, friends and fellow Masons. Tim was pre-deceased by his daughter, Elizabeth White; his parents, Dick and Helen White; his sister, Cara White and his father and mother-n-law, William and Nancy Tucker. He is survived by his wife, Shelle White of Scottsville; his son Phillip of Scottsville; his brothers, Michael (Kathy) White of Hamburg and Jon White (Sara Blechinger) of Portage, MI; his sister-in-law and her husband, Leslie and Hans Kunze of Wyoming and brother-in-law Seth Tucker of Rochester; his nephews and nieces, Ryan and Austin White; Brendon, Alexa (Trey) Rayborn and Bailey White; Karl, Mary and Grace Kunze; along with several aunts, uncles and many of cousins. Tim’s family and friends may call Thursday December 2, 2021 from 4-7pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Tim on Friday December 3, 2021 at 10am at St. Joseph’s Church in Wayland. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Perry Center.
