Obituary of Cindy M. Ordway

Livonia – Cindy M. Ordway, 74 years of age, passed away early Thursday morning, December 30, 2021 at Highland Hospital. Cindy was born May 24, 1947 in Hornell the daughter of Richard and Jennie (DeBoise) Ordway. She grew up in the Hornell area and graduated from Alfred-Almond Central School in 1965. Throughout her younger years, Cindy resided in Florida, Hornell, Honeoye and for the last 45 years she has lived in Livonia. Cindy retired from Strong Memorial Hospital as a patient technician. She continued her dedication to healthcare and ran on the ambulance company for Livonia for several years. Cindy loved playing cards (especially euchre), going to the casino, gardening and travelling around the country. Cindy was pre-deceased by her parents, Richard and Jennie Ordway; and her uncle, Joseph DeBoise. She is survived by her children, Colleen Springer (Melissa Robert) of Naples, James Donley of Tacoma, WA and Jason Donley (Tabbitha Griffith) of Henrietta; her grandchildren, Tanyon and Porter; her brothers, Ken (Bonnie) Ordway of Hornell and Mark (Terri) Ordway of Irondequoit; her aunt, Pat DeBoise of NJ; her niece and nephews, Kelley, Tony and Joshua; along with many cousins. Cindy has requested no services and will be celebrated and honored by her family at their convenience. Contributions in memory of Cindy M.
