When I heard this news, it brought me to tears. Lenny was a very kind hearted person. During my time at Gunkocke, he always took the time to say hello. He was the type of person that saw humor in everything. He was a joy to be around and an incredible employee. He leaves behind a legacy, one that teaches us all to enjoy what you do and always do it with a smile.
Sending my condolences to his family. He was an amazing man.

Kimmy, Jonha, Steph and Nate…… where do I begin? I’m actually at a loss for words, which never usually happens. My heart is broken and aches for all of you. So many great memories of Skynard! From 3-wheelers, Laf-A-Lot, the Mt. View for lunches, Saturday nights. I could go on and on. We had a lot of great times. Then came kids - Leonard was a great Dad. Loved my kids like they were his own. I’m happy that they also have many great memories. Next Gunlocke, never a time that I didn’t hear “Ellie Mae” when I was in the plant. He was loved by so many. I’ll never forget him and Kimmy as my great, loving unconditionally, friends. Love you Skynard, fly high my friend.

It's hard to imagine a world without Lenny in it. Whenever I was in the plant at Gunlocke, he always had a smile and a playful remark. He truly was a rascal, and he will be sorely missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Pat Lander

My earliest memories of my Uncle Leonard and aunt Kim, Was when I was in kindergarten around 6 years old we got to dress up in costumes and walk around in high school classes and I always knew I would get to see my Uncle Leonard and he would pick on me or make me smile, I also thought i was pretty cool at the time, that he was my uncle. I also got to see his girlfriend (at the time) I thought she was so beautiful I wanted to look like her, I also remember when they lived in the apartment above Carrie's grocery, I love to go see them in that little apartment and see my Uncle Leonard when he worked there. I can also remember chasing fireflies in their backyard where they live now before before their wood fence was put up. I Love you Uncle Leonard and always will, words cannot describe how upset I have been that I didn't get to spend more time with you. I'm so sorry! To your beautiful family, some of you don't remember me or know me. But I want you to know, I have watched you guys on Facebook and that for me helped me feel closer, im so sorry for your loss, and I Love all of you.
