Obituary of Johnathon R. Nickels

Springwater – Johnathon R. Nickels, “Johnny” 28 years of age, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday January 18, 2022. Johnny was born August 21, 1993. He grew up in Springwater prior to his travels during his life. He was a graduate of Wayland Cohocton Central School and most recently worked as a line cook at the Truckstops of America in Dansville. Johnny also worked with his “Pops” at the family business, Four Corners Contracting. Johnny was a free spirit! He was bright, energetic and his sense of humor captivated his personality. He loved spending time with his family; had a passion for travelling all over the country; attending and working at festivals; loved the Grateful Dead; and especially cared for animals. Johnny touched many lives with his generosity, kindness and passion for life. He will be loved and missed dearly by all. Johnny is survived by his father and mom, Richard and Arla Nickels; his sister Jacquelynn Nickels and brother, JT Nickels; his mother, Sharon Dale Aronald, brothers, Christian Nixon and Jaden Garcia; along with many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
