Obituary of Jeannine M. Snyder

Wayland – Jeannine M. Snyder, 80 years of age, passed away Wednesday evening, October 19, 2022 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Jeannine was born March 6, 1942 in Wayland the daughter of Eugene and Alberta (Glover) Girardin. She grew up in and has remained a life resident of Wayland. In her younger years, Jeannine worked for AB Cowles in Wayland. Most of her life thought, she was dedicated to caring for others. Family, friends and neighbors, it did not matter. She was a very caring and thoughtful caregiver. Jeannine’s grandchildren held a special place in her heart as well. Jeannine was pre-deceased by her parents, Eugene and Alberta Girardin; her grandson, Joey Lane; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, John, Kelly and Elijah Rachow. She is survived by her children, Jack (Robin) Amato of FL, Jamie Rachow of Wayland, Joe Amato (Kathryn) of IA and James (Bonnie) Church of GA; her step-daughter, Lori Snyder of Cohocton; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Diane Cooley of Wayland and Jean Wolf of Dansville; special niece Becky Cooley; along with many nieces and nephews. Jeannie’s family and friends are invited to her funeral service on Tuesday October 25, 2022 at 2pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. Interment will take place at the convenience of her family.
