Obituary of Timothy Dennard
Wayland – Timothy Dennard, “Tim” passed away Wednesday February 15, 2023 at his home in Wayland. Tim was born February 11, 1953 in Baconton, GA, the son of Willie Sr. and Rose (Angry) Dennard. Tim grew up Georgia and remained there until 1989 when he moved to the Perkinsville and Wayland areas where he has remained.
Tim and Mary Ann Jones were married February 12, 1982 in Georgia and have celebrated 41 years together. Tim worked a variety of jobs throughout his life but Agriculture was his forte. While in Georgia he worked on a Pecan Farm and when in NY he worked for many local farmers. Tim was also a custodian at Wayland Cohocton Central School, retiring from there in 2015. Tim was a handyman and would help many in the Wayland Community. He enjoyed fishing and he loved music, especially Barry White and Tyrone Davis.
Tim was pre-deceased by his parents Willie Sr. and Rose Dennard; his sister, Judy Mae; his son in law, Ryan Krupp his sister in law, Rose Dennard; brothers in law, Joseph Jones and Willie Jones; and sister in law Lorene Ingram. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Dennard of Wayland; his daughters, Charlene Dennard of GA, Angelia Dennard Ferrell of GA, Monique (Willis) LaPlant of Atlanta, NY, Nicole Dennard of Wayland and Sophia Krupp of N. Cohocton; his grandchildren, Sarah, Timothy, George, Shasmine, Briana, Brittany, Dominic, Darnell, Amaya, Giovanni and Gino; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, Willie Dennard Jr. of GA; several brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews; and his best friend and cat “Buddy!”
Tim’s family and friends may call Tuesday February 21, 2023 from 2-4pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. His funeral service will be Tuesday at 4pm at the funeral home. Tim will be laid to rest on Friday February 24, 2023 at Baconton Community Cemetery in GA with his family.
