I remember Mrs. Reynolds from being at Wayland Central School where I went to school. I remember how nice she was and she also was a nurse that worked for Dr. Robinson, if I remember right. She was a well brought up women. Just read of her death after this many years. Jane Mitchell Salles.

Q: How would you describe Alice to someone who had never met them?
A: Alice, was a kind and generous person. She took pride in her job as Wayland's school nurse. When you were sick she always fussed over you until your parents came to get you. She will always be a positive memory from school life.

At the age of 11, when in Wayland school, I was very ill, three days in a row. The school nurse, Mrs. Reynolds, was the one that figured out what was wrong, and sent me to Dr. Robinson. I had Type 1 diabetes. At that time, I was the only one in school that had it and the kids didn't know about it, so I got teased and picked on a lot. Mrs. Reynolds was the one that helped me through that. I loved her. Peggy Sue Kern

Alice and John Reynolds were so good to my grandparents Maynard and Mildred Warner. That little town of Patchinsville really was something special. I remember Alice as the school nurse always being so kind. I’m sorry to the family for your loss but know I have fond memories of Alice and John. With sympathy, Ann Warner Lill
