Fond memories of how excited Flo was for Joe and Melissa’s wedding. She was so pleased to have her family in Lincoln that week and loved every minute of their time together. I also remember Flo’s gleeful response when she found out she was going to be a Grandma, followed by “Oh, that’s wonderful, that’s wonderful!” Flo adored Bryce and Chase and they adored her. How blessed she was to be loved and cared for by Ron, Ted, Becca, Nancy, Joe and Melissa. Thank you for being my friend, Flo.

Our condolences to the Hayden family. We have fond memories of Florence as member of Sacred Heart Church family and her teaching my children the religous ed classes. They were so fond of her. Florence always had a smile and a genuine warmth. Heaven has gained a new angel.

Florence was a quirky woman who brought much life to the world. Quirky in a good way. I will never eat butternut squash or dill pickles or cranberry sauce ever again without thinking of Florence and sending a little smile heavenward. It was so fun teaching Religious Ed with her. She had a way of making religious doctrine meaningful and fun for kids. The Beatitudes became the Happy tudes and so many Bible stories were acted out. She was the ultimate teacher, parent, friend, and colleague. She will be missed.

My sincere sympathy to Florence s family! She was such a good hearted lady who always had a smile and kind word. They were so missed when they left wayland. May she be wrapped in the love of the Lord and your father. It was a blessing knowing her. RIP Flo.

Florence - Thank you for the many great memories with the Haydon family. I will always remember your warm noisy kitchen and the conversations had there with you all. Your spirit, humor and outlook will always bring me a smile and will be something I'll try to emulate. Ted, Becca, Nancy and Joe are blessed to have called you Mom.
