Obituary of William J. Tipold

Elmira – William J. Tipold, 73 years of age, passed away early Thursday evening, February 8, 2024 at the Vincent House Comfort Care Facility in Wayland. Bill was born November 13, 1950 in Clifton, NJ. He grew up in New Jersey, resided in Newburg, NY for many years and upon retirement he settled in Elmira. Bill was a professional painter and owned and operated his own company, Grey Oaks Milling. He enjoyed woodworking along with many different arts and crafts. Bill is survived by his longtime friend Edward Kolb and a cousin, Hedy Smalling. At this time there are no funeral services or celebrations scheduled.
