We loved this Auntie very much. Aunt Evelyn was married to our Dad's (Merton Lawrence) brother, Uncle Herman, and she embraced us lovingly and was so very supportive through the years. She applauded our endeavors and successes. For me, personally, she challenged me to live without credit cards and I took that challenge 10 years ago. It has been one of the best things that I have done.
Aunt Evelyn became a Motherly figure to me after my mother passed away. I have cherished that about her.
For her family and friends, I know this will leave an emptiness and memories to process. Please know we pray for the celebration of her life and legacy. We shall miss her very much.
