Sherry was my oldest sister she was 14 when I was born. Our mom wanted me to call her Sissy, but when I tried to say Sissy, it came out as Iddy.
To this day (I am now 61 years old) Sherry is my Iddy
she would call me and say "its Iddy"
Sherry was always a constant in my life always there thru good and bad, happy and sad.
Sherry will forever be my Iddy and forever be loved and missed.

I was so sad to hear of Sherri’s passing.
Many fond memories of her while working at Burlington Woods.
She was one of the sweetest and funniest people I’ve ever met.
God bless and May she Rest In Peace.

I can't believe you aren't here anymore. You were the most important person in the whole world and now I'm without you. I can't breathe most of the time and I feel so lost without you. You were the best mom anyone could ever have. You did everything for me up until the day you left me. My heart will forever be broken!!! I love you sooo much!!!

In 1995 ...I had no idea I would meet my very best friend ever. We were best of friends right off the bat, both of us...were left over hippies with so much in common.... We shared peace and love mentality on...it didn't take long to find out we both had an attraction to tye dye ...both slept in full wave water beds, had a love of animals, and that our daughters were the most important part of our lives.
We were often finding ourselves in crazy situations (we often compared ourselves to Lucy and Ethel) we laughed so hard we cried . I will always remember her laughter.
.Not many people understood our zaniness....but it didn't matter.to us.
She went to massage school and she would practice what she learned on me. She sooo spoiled me... which eventually led her to calling me a BRAT...
This name stuck, and she pretty ALWAYS called me that from that point!
One day we were preparing for a big barbecue to celebrate my daughter's engagement...we went to a rental store and rented an oversized bbq grill, ( another Lucy and Ethel episode) we loaded it in her truck and down the road we went...half way to the point of our destination...the speed racer that she was...hit a whooped de Doo in the road and the grill rolled out of the truck and kept on rolling down the road we stood in disbelief, but . .shocked but giggling we ran to retrieve it...once back in the truck and rolling on our.way.we laughed and laughed ...and many time remembered it..and still laughed like the day it happened,
We had so many of these moments!
After tragically loosing her husband. She picked herself up and went on living.
She went on to go on a date with Jerry whom she became quite smitten with .. he was handsome, easy going, had a great sense of humor, and he was smart. She felt like she won the lottery...giddy and happy.
They became a couple.
Together they started a new episode of life.
They invested in land with an old cabin and planned to build a new log cabin...for their retirement haven together. She was just so thrilled... Jerry and her were gonna be together forever.
Many miles separated us when she moved away, she embarked on a new experiences for her...she had a new house, new love and new life, she was excited and I shared in her excitement...
I visited as much as I could...she was so happy to show me around...we enjoyed the land that she called her forever home.
I will miss my best friend, often but will forever remember her smile and our zanny episodes.
I LOVE YOU SHERRY,
REST IN PEACE,
till we meet again!
(Then we can start things up again)

Two of my favorite photos of Sherry and my brother! The first photo was taken at Cindy & Mike’s wedding. I’m not sure where the 2nd photo was taken.
